EU rules set fixed amounts per passenger, based on flight distance. Amounts below are the standard figures; an airline may not have to pay if extraordinary circumstances caused the disruption.

| Over 3,500 km (outside the EU) | €600 |
Delays count when you arrive 3 hours or more late at your final destination.
Cancellations may qualify if you were told less than 14 days before departure.
